About my work at Safe Kids Worldwide
My connection to Safe Kids started long before I had a job title. My mom was a coalition coordinator, so I grew up around safety events, bike rodeos, and the language of prevention. What started as tagging along turned into a real commitment to child safety—and eventually, into a focus on how structural conditions shape risk and access.
Professionally, I’ve worked on a range of projects, from water safety campaigns to teen driving curricula. Today, my work centers equity: making all kids have access to the same prevention efforts, and that safety isn’t treated as an individual choice, but a collective responsibility. Safe Kids is where I learned how to show up for community—and where I continue to learn how systems can protect or fail.
